FOURAGER- Founded in 2021, Seattle jazz quartet Fourager is tenor saxophonist Jackson Cotugno, bassist Julian Weisman, guitarist Martin Budde and drummer Rocky Martin. Each member of Fourager contributes original compositions rooted in the jazz tradition while actively stretching the traditional roles and responsibilities of their instruments in the quartet setting. The band performs throughout the West Coast, and explores themes of transformation, self sufficiency through connecting to nature, and the powerful gifts of friendship and community in the post-pandemic era. Fourager’s eponymously titled 2025 debut album was recorded by Ben Lange at Lang Studios May 12-13, 2024, mixed & produced by Ross Hoyt, and mastered by Dan Dean.
